oooooouuuuu, ahhhhhhh - gorgeous comet - awesome picture! Love it.
Thank you tsduff! I wish I'd heard of it earlier so I could've had a crack at it when it was truly dominating the sky. It was bright enough to see in daylight here one day!
Ah well... been a bit going on for me lately ;)
Gorgeous and Moody. Makes one pause at the wonders above we so often take for granted.
Man....everytime I step into your blog, you always captured me... wide eyes open! "POP" That is one terrific shot!
I remember witnessing a comet when I was a kid, it was so exciting that I keep chasing her until she's gone. Luckily I didn't get hit by a car back then!
Hey! Keep the Fun & joy and KICK the boredom away...! Blessed year to YOU!
Arts of life...bubbling
I'm jealous.
Trée: Howdy bro - thanks for the DT invite! You make me wonder though - how could anyone take a freakin' comet for granted? :)
Felix: Welcome back friend! Thanks so much for your kind words - I wonder if that was the same one I saw as a kid? I just lay in my camp stretcher and watched it until the sunrise washed it away... A blessed year to you also :)
Rev: Me too! (Heh heh - comment verification is "iddyot" - even Google's having a go!)
I bet is the same one! Our world is small and round.....probably the comet trying to say hi to you and me...
Born under the same sign hey Felix? :) Nice new avatar by the way! All the best...
Nice. I was supposed to go comet spotting here last week but I missed it. But as my mate Birna said, what the fuck, we can just look at it on the internet.
Great pic.
Hi Annie - It's true! I've seen way better photos of it there than I managed to get...
Nothing quite like the romance of seeing it hanging in the sky all misty and portentious like though....
Cheers!
I'm so envious....we had cloudy skies in New Orleans the whole time....I went out every evening but never caught a glimpse. :(
Beautiful photos, as usual!
Awww, bummer TravellingMermaid. You'd think that amount of effort would have been rewarded, hey? :( 2007's shaping up to be pretty special though - maybe there'll be more! Thanks - sending you the best...
